I am a professional photographer and certified caver. I am passionate about raising awareness to the rich history and "hidden" treasures of my country Greece,and the beauty one can find in them if only, one takes the time to open their mind and look closer.

Experience and work
As a photographer and caver i have had the privilege of having some of my photos published on the pages of the scientific publication "The Minerals of Lavrion
-Nikos M.Vourlakos-Michalis G.Fitros" Published by "E.ME.L" and the "Scientific Society of Lavreotiki" And also had my pictures published in "The mineralogical treasures of Lavreotiki" a small,80 page reference and callendar booklet to support the "Lavrion home for the elderly" institution -an effort for which i am very proud to have been able to contribute towards.
I am also collaborating with the Mineralogical Museum of lavrion(E.ME.L) in order to photograph and promote their large collection of unique mineralogical specimens to the public,and recently started working towards that same goal with the largest geological and mineralogical authority in Greece,called "ΕΑΓΜΕ" ( Greek Authority of Geological and Metalourgical research) as part of on an ongoing project, that will hopefuly benefit a number of generations of students and academics interested on this field.
On top of all this,there is my ongoing collaboration with Jestercats.com, where you can purchase clothing items and accessories,carrying prints of my mineral macro photography.
